Located in Corme-Écluse, just 10 minutes from Royan and 5 minutes from Saujon and Cozes, Le Petit Trot Cormillon welcomes you amid vineyards and along the banks of the Seudre River, inviting your family to discover recreational horse riding.
Here, horses and ponies live in herds in the surrounding meadows and are ready to take you on peaceful rides or short canters along the paths and tracks of the Saujon countryside.

Activities
How about enjoying a stroll along the Seudre River or going for a ride through the Pays Royannais? Maybe you’d like to introduce your children to horse riding during your stay, or give them a refresher lesson.
Émilie, our BPJEPS-qualified instructor, will guide you kindly and warmly, with respect for both the horse and the rider.
courses
We offer riding lessons from age 6 and pony-pampering sessions from age 4.
Whether introductory or advanced, these lessons let each child progress at their own pace on suitable horses and ponies.
Lessons take place in the outdoor arena or on nearby trails. Different specialties are offered: jumping, dressage, vaulting, and more.

School holidays are made for riding!
For beginners who have never ridden before, we offer introductory courses from age 6.
For budding riders with some experience, courses are available from age 8.
On the program: countryside rides, vaulting, pony care and grooming, and practical and theoretical instruction.

With leisure horse riding in mind, Le Petit Trot Cormillon can arrange custom horse hikes.
The beaches of the Gironde estuary, the banks of the Seudre River, the vineyards and surrounding woods provide access to country trails for rides ranging from one hour to a full day.
Whether with a group or your family, on one of our horses or ponies, we invite you to ride on country paths with the pace adapted to your level.

From Shetlands for the little ones to horses of various breeds for adults, our animals are selected for their gentleness and your comfort. Their sizes and temperaments are suitable for both beginners and experienced riders.
